#1: wheel thoughts.. Author: Bigbenj_08, Location: CardiffPosted: Wed Mar 12, 2014 7:33 am ---- Got a few wheel related issues and am being indecisive about what I want to do.... help?
I've somehow bent 1, maybe 2 of my sciroccos and 3/4 tyres also need changing.
Current options are:
- Send the 2 bent wheels off to be repaired - £48 each and no - guarantee they can be straightened. Then buy new tyres (£2-300).
- Buy 2nd hand alloys from here/ebay (£150+) then probably buy tyres (£300+). Looking at nimrods or vortex!
- Buy a new aftermarket set with tyres, but looking upwards of £600 depending on make.
Meh I hate cars!

Cant decide if I want to keep the same or go bigger either!
Worst thing is, this dips in to my exhaust/suspension fund!!

She doesn't need to do anything! You organise the courier, ask her for a day when they can collect and you'll have them the next day

Do they need packing or anything though? I've sent big stuff in the post before, not wheels though!

But I have ocd so they have to be mint and I'm a typical northerner so hate spending money haha.
