passenger seat

Hello, my passenger side seat doesn't recline as far back as the drivers seat and it rocks back and forth when i accelerate and brake.. Does anybody have any idea what's up?

Could be an obstructed or a jammed spring located under the seat near the door I believe.

As for the rocking back and forth are we still talking about the recliner or the whole seat? If the latter then the seat is probably not secured to the rails correctly.

Personally, grab a torch and a small mirror and check to see if you can see any obstructions underneath.
If your not sure what your looking for then compare how the mechanism works (or not in your case) with the drivers seat to see whats not working correctly on the passenger side.

You or a previous owner have had vigorous sex in the passenger seat. The rear is almost as much room and doesn't break the seat. Well not normally!
