I have a 2001 1.1 , everytime my radiator tries to cut in you can hear a loud banging noise which is very noticable and embarassing.its got to a point of where avoid driving during rushhour times. Any ideas where the fault might lie ?
thanks

Morning,

I'd guess at either the fan isn't mounted securly by all the bolts.
Or there's rubish or something obstructing it.
Not hard to pull the plastic bits off and have a look if you wanted to.

Regards, Richard.

I had this issue but applied a lot of WD-40 all around the fan and its bearing and it sorted it out nicely.
