Hi all, I was told I should upload some photos.

Here is my 206 SW on axle stands. Over the next few days, I am in the process of lowering the torsion bar, fitting coilovers on the front, smashing the back doors out of the cat, and possibly replacing the back box...

Thanks for looking

Mike

Love that colour.

Good plans there,

What about wheels though? Screaming for some nimrods.

HDi or Petrol power?

Hi gents, thanks for the comments.

Its a 2 litre HDI so plenty of scope to get some grunt out of it. I've really noticed not having six gears after coming from a big (but uneconomical) 2.2 Toyota Avensis and a Ibiza 130 sport. I miss the Ibiza, I should never have sold it, but needs must and all that.

Wheels wise, I plan to get some alloys, but wanted to use up the tyres I have first. I drive 100 miles round trip for work everyday, so dont want to waste brand new tyres.

I've had a b***h of a day today. Managed to lower the backend by 40mm I think but it turns out the ProSport Coilover kit is not only missing the top hats, but also the rear shocks dont appear to fit. They are the right length, and the top bolt goes through, but the bottom bolt is too big for the metal bush. I'm pretty furious about it to be honest as I planned on having the easter break to get it all done, and now it looks like I need to get parts tomorrow. If I cant get the bits I need, I'm well and truly screwed.

On a more positive note, the underside is really really clean, very happy from that respect.

I've got prosport on my car so surprised it doesn't fit. Possibly different fitment due to your car being an estate. Phone them up as they're more than happy to help. I had to get a few tips when fitting myself.
