In your opinion (I'm not a seller though Wink why this did not get sold: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321368983947

I think a return on parts would make profit, and if I had spare £800 my car could benefit too

Looks horrific!
Lots done to it, but not very tasteful! Worth a few quid in parts though! Smile

You need to ask that question? Your computer not load pics lol.

It didn't sell because;

#1 It's a state
#2 You can get many, many decent cars for not much more
#3 It's a 138
#4 A quick flick read suggests it's been in a wack
#5 It's on 115k

Umm, can't see why it didn't sell tbh. Looks like a clean straight genuine motor. Never raced, never crashed in to halfords although after reding the description in the listing you can assume otherwise?

Just like iainlovatt, I'm talking about re-using non-visual non-standard parts Razz

Hmm well,

Maybe if you can barter it down. Sure weighing it in and stripping it if you have time may return a tiny bit of profit.

Not much on there I can see that's worth anything bar the coilovers but, you can get semi decent ones for around 300 new (Semi) not track weapon ones.

Some chav would snap up the skirts ect I guess. I'd view it if possible before buying it. Never know what it's been through and the state of the items listed. Car looks like it's had a hard life so chances are the other desirable bits went along for the ride.

This.

Going by the overall condition of the car, I would assume that the other 'desirable' parts will be tatty and not worth their full value, which hardly makes it worthwhile buying to break for parts.

of there's not too many scratches or dents it'd be worth it in parts i saw a 306 carbon on the forum go for around £300 and it had loads of interest i'm sure it sold within a day now the 206 is becoming the next saxo im sure you'd get in excess of 200 for the bonnet if it wasnt scratched all over

I just stumbled upon cheap 206 carbon bonnets on ebay from PezHdi post:

m.ebay.co.uk/itm/181387064054
m.ebay.co.uk/itm/331180993765

I was thinking more to have used this car as donor for suspension parts (brakes, coilovers, rear shocks), short shift, exhaust, - but those all as you said might be in questionable state

Just freshly replaced wishbones, rod ends, and rear axle I wouldn't mind Smile

Grilles and alloys can always be resprayed; lights, interior bits and bobs one could benefit from, audio system, G5 alarm and callguard to wow friends Very Happy

So I was surprised this car didn't go (it still drives, so no towing involved), just consulting with you guys Smile

Wish you hadn't have put those bonnets up. If that one in somerset was in Essex I'd be all over that, and have it sprayed KMF.

mmmm
