A few weeks ago my car randomly started hunting badly. Plugged PP2K in and it brought up an exact fault of positive short on the Fuel Pressure Regulator....so it can detect shorts well. Turned out I'd left a wire laying on the starter terminal lol.
It's also brought up some really specific faults on my 206, such as the interior climate fan jammed, intermittent lack of positive feed to the light stalk, brake light switch permanently open etc. I've also used a Snap-On Solus before, and own a good Laser Code reader. But for the Peugeots, PP2K is always best. It also shows intermittent faults.
As for airbag wiring, there wont be any externally. It'll be as simple as the ECU under the ashtray, then wiring straight to the airbags and pretensioners.
I see you're also in Ipswich and would offer to stick my PP on your car but too busy atm I'm afraid.

It's not. it can do far more including testing sensors, solenoids and circuits.

I completed my 5 year course to gain my City and Guilds in Motor Vehicle Engineering while you were still a tadpole swimming around your fathers ball bag.
After gaining this qualification, I worked a further 6 years for a Rover dealership. From there I went on to maintain a fleet of 70 vehicles that travelled over 100,000 miles per week between them. After 4 years, I moved onto a different career which also gave me further qualifications regarding the safety of motor vehicles.
So in answer to your question, yes I have got my hands dirty, and I have probably had a hell of a lot more experience than you, in all walks of life.

Anyone with more than an ounce of sense would know that PP2000 doesn't fix the faults. It helps locate them. You actually need someone that knows the difference between a spanner and a hammer to fix the fault. If you are unsure what a spanner looks like, go into the bathroom, turn the light on and look in the mirror.
Anyone need to nip out and stock up on popcorn?

My suggestion to yourself is to calm down, you have asked for help, you have received some advice, for you to then go on and think you know better than other people is certainly insulting, especially when you come out with daft points such as what you wrote on page 1.
If you are not willing to invest in peugeot planet then perhaps you should buy a passenger airbag and take it from there. At least that way you can isolate it bit by bit.
If this topic keeps digressing and the rudeness caries on then you will have to contemplate a 7 day cooling off period.

I am calm, I haven't asked for help. I received very little advice. If you are referring to the snapon scanner then it not a daft point, just saying that it does everything on everything.
At the end of the day. Its not affecting anything. The light is never on apart from the odd occasion. Off and on with the key and light gose off. I work at a garage mots are no problem.
Its frustrating trying to get the point accross when people are saying take it to main dealer.
If people cant keep to the topic then they are a c***

It must of took you 6 years at rover to work that out. Watching men work while you swept the floor. Dont state the obvious on here people might learn somthing.
