#1: Steering wobble Author: woodthorpe1717, Location: LincolnPosted: Tue May 27, 2014 5:32 pm ---- Right I've had a look on the other posts and I can't find a salution or the same issue so here goes.
I have a 53 plate 206 2litre HDI SW (my super family wagon)
Anyway, if I'm travelling my speed (even <10mph) my steering wheel wobbles. Not just a little bit either, it goes maybe inch to 2 inch from side to side.
Steering fluid full, wheels balanced, identical tyres, no bulges etc, tracking bang on, recently had 2 new CV joints (issue started before fitting).
I DO have an issue with pump as when I go round a long bend or roundabout my steering pulls back, this can only be described as like a force feedback arcade steering wheel.
Could both symptoms be connected? Is it possible to bleed pump system and how?
I've tried to give as much info as I can but if I've forgotten something please ask because I need this sorting and garages cost lots of pennies.
Cheers all
