#3: Re: vacuum pipe problem Author: Pezxx, Location: Pembrokeshire, West WalesPosted: Fri May 30, 2014 9:45 am ---- It's a 2 litre and a secondary air system pump, any idea where is the best place to get replacement pipes?
#4: Re: vacuum pipe problem Author: Steve206, Location: UKPosted: Fri May 30, 2014 11:51 am ---- Gti 180? The secondary pump is only used to warm the cat up quicker, I'd remove it completely. ESP and asr are the same thing really. Do you have an abs fault?
#5: Re: vacuum pipe problem Author: Pezxx, Location: Pembrokeshire, West WalesPosted: Fri May 30, 2014 1:19 pm ---- No it's not a gti 180 and as far as I know it doesn't have an abs fault as it's not showing up as having one

#10: Re: vacuum pipe problem Author: macca1411, Location: Westhoughton, LancashirePosted: Sat May 31, 2014 4:38 am ---- Did you ever get the car scanned with PP2000 after the garage told you that you had an ABS fault. www.206info.co.uk/Foru...60429.html
Are you sure that they are vacuum hoses that have been cut? In cases like this a picture of the offending part can help considerably. At the moment it seems to be purely guesswork and that is going to get you nowhere fast. Then come MOT time you'll be desperate for the answer to come quickly.
#11: Re: vacuum pipe problem Author: Steve206, Location: UKPosted: Sat May 31, 2014 5:11 am ---- It won't be a gti but it will be a ew10j4s engine code. That's why it's important to provide all the info, and in this case a pic!

That is not true,as all the secondary air pump in Peugeot is controlled by ECU,and it works as giving a fresh air to the exhaust to have a better fuel burn, when you first start the car in the morning, and while driving in traffic.
