#1: 406 brembo question Author: gtijames22, Location: stirlingPosted: Mon Jun 30, 2014 12:27 pm ---- ive had a search but cant find much info on the pedal travel these give, ive just fitted these to my 180 and the travel is considerably longer than it used to be, is this normal or have i still got some air in the system?
thanks

#3: Re: 406 brembo question Author: usher, Location: northallertonPosted: Mon Jun 30, 2014 12:34 pm ---- normal braided hoses helped with mine
#4: Re: 406 brembo question Author: gtijames22, Location: stirlingPosted: Mon Jun 30, 2014 12:46 pm ---- well ive bled for a while and seems like all air is gone, im using hel hoses mate. just wondering how bad the extra pedal travel is, will bleed it again tomorrow to make sure, is it worthwhile changing the mc and servo?
#5: Re: 406 brembo question Author: usher, Location: northallertonPosted: Mon Jun 30, 2014 2:58 pm ---- you can but you need to talk to jonsully he has used the mc off the 406 and 306 gti 6 reseviour but i struggled to get a straight how to off him, mine travels about twice as far as std but held up on the track a few times
#6: Re: 406 brembo question Author: gtijames22, Location: stirlingPosted: Mon Jun 30, 2014 7:14 pm ---- yeah mines is roughly twice as standard too, dont get me wrong they work good, getting the squeels, never used tarox discs but ebc turbogrooves and greenstuff pads, still a great mod,
#7: Re: 406 brembo question Author: Targa180, Posted: Mon Jun 30, 2014 9:39 pm ---- +1 , at times I feel they won't pull me up hard enough but when you really need them and you stand on that brake pedal the brembos will bite hard! All the above MC change comments above are great info as I've driven one with an anti flex plate and MC change and it was a lot tighter.
Cheers Matt

#13: Re: 406 brembo question Author: gtijames22, Location: stirlingPosted: Tue Jul 01, 2014 2:37 pm ---- nice. will let you know mate
#14: Re: 406 brembo question Author: usher, Location: northallertonPosted: Tue Jul 01, 2014 4:07 pm ---- you would struggle without a custom bracket for the rears, can be done anything can be done knowing the right people, autograss makers are best bet for custom work like that guy near me said it wouldnt cost much, doing a cage for me for about 500
