It's nice to see someone the same age doing sensible mods (i.e not utterly slammed with an exhaust the size of a watermelon haha)
No, being 18 and having already been pulled over, I'm trying not to draw any attention to my car!
I'm sticking to aesthetic mods rather than ones that will destroy my insurance premium!
Thanks the feedback

Haha yeah that's fair enough. So what you're saying is that you would turn it into a hover craft and paint it neon pink if you could get away with it?

Also very true, I'm wondering how much I'm gonna get charged when I tell them I want to do suspension mods :b
Nice job so far though! Really inspired me to work on mine some more!

Author: Ciaran996, Posted: Sun Oct 19, 2014 6:46 pm ---- Love the moonstone personally because i got one but i prefer the body colored bumber strips but i guess it's personal preference im gonna wrap the lion badge at the back just below the window in carbon wrap debadged and same alloys as yours need a new engine cover in moonstone too
#34: Re: JordHaze's Boredom project. Author: JordHaze, Location: WarwickshirePosted: Sun Oct 19, 2014 7:16 pm ---- I'm currently in the process of designing and building my new sub enclosure. So annoying for what I want!
#35: Re: JordHaze's Boredom project. Author: JordHaze, Location: WarwickshirePosted: Wed Nov 05, 2014 4:22 am ---- Just an update on my current circumstances.
I will be taking a break from modding my car over the winter and focussing on my other hobby: gaming.
I will have my personal plates on before I come back so I may update the thread with that but don't expect much for a few weeks
It's a sad day for me, I have to announce the end of this project thread. It was fun while it lasted, but unfortunately I have written off my car.
I was driving back from my girlfriend's house, going at about 45 round a corner when I hit some black ice and the back end came out behind me. I don't remember much from after that except being in a ditch.
In the past 4 weeks I've had a Full MOT, New Tyres, Full Service and a brand new clutch, (which I had for a full 36 hours before the crash.) All equalling roughly £600 in total. How happy do you think I was? And to top it off, there was a full tank of petrol in there from earlier in the day.
I'm currently looking for another 206 so I can try and continue with this forum but I'm not sure I'll be able to get one in the same condition as my old one for a decent price. But I'll let you know if I do!
So for now, it is a sad goodbye from me and this project.
There's some more pictures below.

(And yes, in the last picture that is something I bought from a user on here less than a week ago.)

I hope you stay on the forum like I have after I wrote off my 206

Yeah mate, I'm fine, few torn muscles on my right side (probably from landing on the drivers door), but no long term damage.
Well, other than the car and the bank balance, no long term damage.

[Goodbye.] Author: Vexs, Location: LondonPosted: Tue Nov 25, 2014 12:59 pm ---- Holy f*** dude, glad you got off lightly which is the main thing! and hopefully you find another decent 206 if that's what your after, it's a real shame to see such a nice example go to scrap yard.
Best of luck mate
#40: Re: JordHaze's Boredom project. [Goodbye.] Author: 20Drift, Posted: Tue Nov 25, 2014 1:10 pm ---- s**t man! I hit ice on a roundabout at 30 but managed to recover (just!). Hope you find a decent replacement mate
#41: Re: JordHaze's Boredom project. [Goodbye.] Author: David1156, Location: East LondonPosted: Tue Nov 25, 2014 2:43 pm ---- Sorry to hear about the car mate, but the main thing is you were able to walk away from it. At the end of the day, cars come and go but your health is something you can't get back once it's gone. I myself had the back end spin out just last week and s**t myself. But best of luck and hopefully you'll find another 206

Serious note your a lucky bloke mate! But if i was you I would be tempted to rip the new bits out of the car before it goes, part from the clutch
