Hi all, the car in question is a 206 cc 1.6 2002. The central locking is not working correctly. As far as I have got with diagnosing it, the car is recognising the key. Bsi is making a relay click via a press on eather button on the key. But the door locks are not energising The cars doors and boot is locking and unlocking via button on the dash. I have reset the bsi 3 times now, checked 2 fuses(fuse data from autodata).

I have no experience of peugeot planet. Is there any capabilites with it for central locking, ie activation of diagnosis

Unless you get the interface from a Peugeot / Citroen main dealer OR Actia directly there all going to be a clone of some kind.

Try & get an interface already running revision C firmware, not important for a 206 but a bonus if in the future you want to plug in to newer PSA products.

ok brill thank you, i just had it plugged into a snap-on but i knew it wasn't going to get into the central locking. but the bloke was nice anuff. he wasn't after any money. he did say if it was a newer peugeot it would have a bigger chance getting into the central locking system.
