#1: The end of the road... Author: davepug, Posted: Tue Jan 06, 2015 12:48 pm ---- So my 206 has beaten me into submission with an Aircon pump in need of replacing, and a very broken rear subframe in the space of 2 weeks.
The question is do i take it to the local breakers yard (for £130 if i drive it there), or break it myself on my driveway?
Has anybody got any experience of this?

You could get a fair bit just for your catalytic converter.

Seen it a few times on this forum.

I got quoted 80 max for car .
Stripped it out made 140 then sold the shell for 36 .
Rear axle hubs gone the lot . .Do you know a scrappys with a mini crane? Most use a hoist ..

Its still drivable, if a little unsafe/'fun', so i think i will just limp it to the local scrappie and take their money.
