Not bad for £5o though, should be able to make some profit on that.

Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Mon Apr 12, 2010 11:54 am ---- Cheap coilovers, wiiiide banded steelies, flared arches not worrying about the paintowrk seeing as it's a bit shabby anyway. Basically epic stance and sh*t bodywork... a bit like Leo's old blue poverty spec 206 that was completely slammed on 14's with flared arches that needed painting - it looked crazy for its lowness alone, despite the bodywork. That's what I'd be tempted to do anyway.

not really much bits worth anything as its a fairly basic model will be worth more to get it running as the labour doesnt cost me anything and the bits are cost price

it actually looks a lot worse in that pic than it is in real life still fairly awkward to repair but nothing a bit of filler and some elbow grease cant sort

yeah well im quite lucky like that as i work at a garage we quite often get cars that arnt financially viable to repair from the customers point of view so i give them £50 for it and spend a few weekends sorting them then that either get sold or nabbed by various family members haha

YUP So chucking in a whole working engine in with manual gearbox attached might work out to be pretty cost effective?

Haha, to be fair though, without spending a pretty penny on getting it into mint condition (and why bother on a low spec 1.4 auto?), then my suggestion would give it the most visual impact, it's all about making it look cool without making it look pristine. I guess what I'm basically suggesting is rat look! At £50 it's virtually disposable so you may aswell have a bit of fun with it

Indeed i do... thing is though with a main dealer you rarely get cars like that in, its more new stuff, working on vans all the time i never really get the chance of a cheeky bargain unless its a clapped out transit van
and with regard to the welding your not wrong there haha!
