#1: oil catch tank Author: Bigbenj_08, Location: CardiffPosted: Mon Feb 09, 2015 7:21 am ---- Hi all,
Anyone fitted an oil catch tank to their 206?
I've been reading up and the consensus seems to be that as always you get what you pay for.
just wonderin whos got what and does it work?
I've noticed I get a dribble of oil out of th breather pipe, so was planning on putting a catch tank in rather than it dribbling back into the intake.
Thanks
Ben

I'm set to buy a cheapo eBay one, but reading up that alu cans can cause a lot of condensation to be created in the intake.

I think that is how it is intended to work .. it burns off by being pushed back into the engine rather than forming a puddle on the ground somewhere ...
I know it gums up the throttle body if it is a lot, but then you have other issues .. worn valves stems/seals/etc
