#1: 206 Wheel change Author: Horica PostPosted: Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:12 am

Hello , I want to change my wheels from standard 14" wheels to 15 " 195 alloys and I would like to know if I need to buy spacers for the front also or only for the rear of the car

I have a Pug 206 1.1 zest from 2005

Thanks

It would all depend on the offset (ET) of the wheels you're planning to buy/use.
If you can provide us with that then we'll be able to tell you if you need spacers alternatively a link to the wheels in question will do.

The new wheels would have 38 offset
R-Line wheels

Here is a link to the wheels on ebay if that would give an idea www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221...EBIDX%3AIT

You will need 10-12mm spacers for these to fit.
Also the ad doesn't even specify the bore size, so find out before you go ahead and purchase them. The 206 has a 65.1mm bore size.
And the ad doesn't specify the PCD either, I mean they look like they would fit a 4x108 pattern, but no harm asking if you haven't already.

For the back i got already Hubcentric spacers and spigots but i was not sure if i need for the front also so i am thinking to buy for the front the universal spacer
The ones from the add was just an example , i already bought exactly the same from someone else
Thanks for the quick answer

You say universal spacers, but I would adivse you to purchase hub centrics for the front as well.
There isn't enough of the hub showing on a 10mm spacer and your also putting a lot of stress on the bolts to carry the wheel instead of the hub. If you choose not to run hub centrics it'll likely end badly.

By all means do so, but at your own risk be it.

That makes the offset ET18 which is too low.
