Hello guys!

Im new here and I was trying to find a place to discuss about my GTI 180.

It seems this forum is the most active one and having really nice fellas discussing about 206 in general.

Is there a "GTI 180 only" section in here? I couldn't find yet.

I mean wouldnt it be good and clear to have like sub section?

Please let me know!

Sincerely,
Masa

I think if you create a sub section, you could segregate the members of the forum and the quality of input on posts may deteriorate as a result. As people will stay within certain areas.
I generally find with this forum if you ask a question there are always people willing to help. If its a question specifically to do with the 180 then putting this in the subject line or in the post itself i would have thought would be sufficient.

Is there any specific reason why you would want a sub section?

Thanks for your reply Carlos!

Well the reasons for sub section..

I think GTI 180 owners are minority here and since the model differs in many ways from original. Of course the section would be open for all, I've already gotten good and fast answer from a fellow 2.0 HDI owner for my first question. I just felt a little bit lost posting questions regarding the 180. So it made me feel like a sub section would be more systematic and unite the 180 owners (minority).

Just an idea, what do you think? Smile

or it might just be me learning to "use" this forum..

The 180 doesn't differ that much from the other models. It might have a different engine but an engine is an engine. If we have a specific section for the 180, do we have one for the 138. How about the 1.4?

Some people wouldn't look at the 180 section, but those are the people that could answer your questions. Just carry on putting the model, engine and year in the 206 problems section and you will get advice on any problems that you have.

Ha, thumbs up for turbo one ^

Alright, thanks for answers boys! And yea you're right people might not read under the 180 then even if they had answers/opinions Smile
It was just that I felt a bit "lost" posting questions regarding the 180.

The thing is now discussed and the idea wasn't worthy.

Let's keep rolling with the old style!

When the car was new it stood out a bit but now all the faults are fairly common to all 206's so really it's just another 206.
