#1: Hole in gearbox Author: Nuve, Location: NewcastlePosted: Mon Apr 27, 2015 9:38 am ---- Noticed a leak on my drive so went on the hunt .. Seem to of found a hole in the gearbox .. It's the al4 automatic .. Anybody got any ideas of a fix / how it happend

How long have you had the car?

Check the sump & oil filter + housing . Try wiping all clean and running the car to see where it's leaking from trace it back .

Seems to be coming from that seal tho . And it's deffo gearbox oil .. Don't think it's the filter but I'll double check.. Anybody had a similar leak ? Looks like al be getting rid of the car if not .. Don't wanna even attempt to fix and automatic box
