Central locking not working
-> 206 Problems

#1: Central locking not working Author: njw1 PostPosted: Tue Jun 02, 2015 11:25 am
    ----
Hi all, I've just joined to try and solve a problem I've got with my mothers 206 ('02 model), the central locking is refusing to work although the doors will lock and unlock manually, it was working perfectly but she tried to lock the car with the passenger door unknowingly ajar and for some reason it hasn't worked since. If you sit inside the car and operate the button in either door (its a two door) or push the buttons on the fob you can hear a clicking sound from under the steering column but nothing else happens. I've checked the multiplugs on the doors, checked the central locking fuse and done a bsi reset all to no avail, could a failed actuator cause all the central locking to fail (the boot is also stuck shut)? Thanks in advance for any advice. Smile
