#1: Anyone got any idea? Author: phil_88, Posted: Thu Jun 11, 2015 1:07 pm ---- right, so my car has recently (last few weeks or so) started to groan and creak when turning the steering wheel either way, only happens at slow speeds mainly parking, reversing of drive, turning into and out of a road etc, cant hear it when driving at normal speed, read that it could be to do with a steering rack problem, I bought the car in feb this year and its always had a little leak was told it was just the oil filter but haven't got round to sorting it yet, but now with this problem im thinking could it be from the steering rack because the leak isn't that bad, only a few drops every now and then, got under the front to av a quick look as I don't really know what im looking for but there seems to be a fair amount of oil about (ive attatched a pic to try and show)
anyone got any ideas? I aint got a clue what to look for
