Congrats to your little runner and new dry home! So what will it be: working on turbo conversion or driving about? Wink

leaving the turbo build until the end of the year. I need to iron out a few faults and make sure the car is running perfect so I dont want to jump into it. Just need to free up some time to do the work.
My main things are to get the car mapped in the state it is now and get the car out at weekends and run some diagnostics on PP2000 and make sure everything is running how it should do. There's an air leak, so I will be going to have a look this weekend with a can of carb cleaning spray to see if I can find where it is leaking. Probably just strip the inlet parts and might end up gasket matching the 138 head to the 180 inlet whilst they are off. Also thinking of getting a centre silencer, the exhaust is too loud.

Hopefully get a bit of track time soon

Fixed the air leak, fit an engine breather filter, altered and shortened some pipework, sprayed the manifold in EYC silver, removed an eco boost or powerboost valve that the previous owner had fitted. Few little jobs done and the car is idling perfect

Ready for a track day now

Or and I removed that awful steering wheel, god knows what I was thinking when I bought that

I have some Kevlar to wrap around the injector/TPS loom to tidy things up

Fuel pump needs changing its on its last legs.

How easy was the exhaust manifold to fit? Any other parts required other than the manifold

Mine was straight forward, but from what I have been told, the 138 gear selector hits the manifold.. so the previous owner must have changed it for the 180 selector cables pre-empting doing the manifold change before he sold the car.

So I will be removing the head over the next couple of weeks and need to know the Torque values for the head bolts is there a dedicated 206 2.0 16v haynes manual I can get hold of. I have a 206 one but I cant remember there being anything related to the 2.0 Engine.

The turbo build is starting earlier than I had planned. Ordering a 2.0 decompression plate and some ARP Head bolts and probably get the head port matched to the 180 inlet and turbo manifold while its off.

The later Haynes manual covers the EW10 engine.
