#1: oil filter change. Author: gibbo300, Location: bromley, kentPosted: Wed Sep 16, 2015 5:30 am ---- hi all, took the oil filter off the car yesterday ( the paper element type ) and the other parts fell out as well, the spring and the plastic part that is also in there. I'm not sure which way round it all goes back so anyone got a diagram or can let me know what way round it all goes back.

Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Thu Sep 17, 2015 9:51 am ---- Hello..Since your car is 1.6,it got the NFU engine,and it got the short filter with plastic valve inside it which stops the metal spring from popping up when you start the engine,so the spring you are talking about should be fitted on the oil filter base,and you fit the new filter in the plastic black cover,and install it ,very simple.
