#1: Torsion bar and lowering Author: HitItWithAHammer, Posted: Wed Sep 23, 2015 6:42 am ---- Hi, I'm looking to lower my 206, I've heard I need to fiddle with the torsion bar, I'm not too confident in what I'm doing, I'm also not on too much of a budget so could someone help me out and point me in the right direction please? I want to do it myself and I work in a garage so I have use of ramps/ tools etc, I just need to know what to do to lower the whole car.
Also the tyres are 175/65/14, and I have new 16 rims and putting 195/40/16 ps3 tyres on, and I want them to sit just inside the arch, so any ideas how much I need to lower it etc would be great
Cheers

They might be a bit too low profile and the ride's going to be pretty harsh
Standard 16" tyre for 206 is 205/45R16XL
