#1: 206 hdi 1.4 wount start when engine is hot Author: Bluepug1, Posted: Thu Oct 22, 2015 8:50 am ---- Start when cold and never start when engine get hot I had to leave until cooled down to start the car. Some time wont start from cold. When i turn key i can feel clicking noise coming from starter motor. Its deffo starter motor but can be something else?
My car is 1.4 hdi 2006

It was getting old and not holding it's charge but this time I did about 20 miles, stopped and when I came back 5 mins later, just like the battery was flat .. 45 mins later (waiting for AA) tried the starter and it turned over just enough to start.
Otherwise I'd suggest the crank sensor (which I think the 1.4 HDi has)
