Central locking completely dead!!

Hi guy this is my first and probably not my last question about a wee 2002 1.1 206 style I Bought there..

Basically the central locking don't work at all.. no life what so ever.. The key opens each door sepertly! But not together and the boot is completely dead!

Has anyone got any idea why Sad

Hi just realised that the key does lock the doors from the lock! But the key fob is completely dead Sad I have no clue so confused haha can anyone help?

The obvious first - dead key battery?
The microswitches on the circuitboard inside the key have a tendency to break loose/fail. Replacement kits are available on eBay (requires SMD soldering)

Key opens by inserting and twisting a suitable coin in the recess at the top.
