i have a 2002 206 GTI when I start the car up first think in the morning most of the time it runs really bad like it has a misfire and hardly any power it also comes up with anti pollution fault and catalytic convertor fault on the centre display.
as soon as the car start to warm up I turn it off wait about 30 seconds start it up and it runs fine but still has the faults come up.
I have replaces the following
spark plugs
coil pack
oil change and engine flush
and idle control valve
can anyone give me some idea about what it could be
thanks

Sounds like a lifter or two sticking, common fault on early EW engines. Mine did this until I replaced all 16 a few months back.
