Remote Central locking issue.

#1: Remote Central locking issue. Author: IceWhyte PostPosted: Tue May 24, 2016 3:46 am

Hi there,

I am looking for some help please.

We have a 206 1.1, 2005 I believe.

When I push the lock or unlock button, I can hear a click and also see the lights flash but the car doesn't actually lock or unlock.
I have checked the fuses under the bonnet and on the front of the BSI (is there fuses on the side of the BSI that are viewable when the BSI is removed?)
I have put a new battery in the key fob. Tried to re-calibrate the key and also changed the boot lock (because I initially thought that was the issue).
It would just be nice to be able to open the boot as we don't have a unlock button in the car or a keyhole at the rear. Currently using a piece of strimmer wire Razz
I haven't tried the BSI reset yet but will try soon.

Any info would be great.

Try BSI reset, otherwise you'd neet to check the fuse and wiring. Looks some centric central locking issue Smile
