#1: Temp gauge Author: Mikewhh, Posted: Tue Jun 07, 2016 7:16 pm ---- Hi I don't know if this common but when driving my temp gauge is below 90 but when driving in town or waiting for periods of time it goes up in between 90 and the next line. Any ideas?

When moving at slow speeds or at a standstill the engine gets hotter and when it reaches about 97 the fan should kick in to drag cool air through the radiator to reduce the temp of the coolant and stop the engine from frying.
