has a sony xplode fitted at the moment got the usual problem of not switching of with the ignition, thought id take it out and have a look at wiring and im lost just looking at it, will post some pics underneath does anyone have any idea how to sort it, looks like it has an adapter to fit the stereo dont want to mess around with it to much not knowing what im doing, also the two big blue wires? anyone know what these are, im assuming there left over from somebody having speakers or amp in there?
also i havent unplugged anything the wires that are unplugged were like that..

(If you don't know just give me the year please). Have you tried switching the red and yellow wires with the (usually bullet type) connectors?

1 will have 8 thin wires (Speakers) Each Speaker will have a solid colour and the same colour with a stripe
The other normally has 3 thicker wires.
Red (Ignition Positive)
Yellow (Permanent Positive)
Black (Negative)
If you have a 4th Thicker Wire, Blue with White stripe, Yes Amp Positive (So it will switch On/Off with the radio)
And some Thinner wires
Blue (Electric Aerial Trigger)
White? (Radio Lights On/Off with car Lights)
If you can see below the ISO work up keeping the same colour across the connections. Stick to the 3 thick and 2 thin ones as those are what you need
