Dreaded rear axle?
-> 206 Problems

There's a groaning noise coming from the back of the 206 when braking. It's not heard at low speeds but once you're over 15 mph and you brake, it's heard.

The trailing arm bearings were replaced a few months ago but i'm guessing they were just a quick fix and that the rear axle needs replacing. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Many thanks

On mine when my back axle went the rear wheels started to camber inwards that much that the tyre touch the wheel arch. Sounds stupid but i would just pull the drum off and have a quick check
