Hi All,

I was hoping that I may be able to get some advice.

Unfortunately my Aunty has had to give up driving due to old age and poor health.

She has asked me to deal with selling her car for her. Usually I would just look in parkers and see what they go for but this one is a little special.

Its a 2005 206 quicksilver that really is like new. As far as I can see it has no real marks or scratches whatsoever. it has only covered 15900 miles from new and has a full Peugeot history. It has spent all its life in a centrally heated garage that has carpets!

Would anyone be able to tell me what it might be worth?

Many Thanks,

Doug

Which engine is it?

If it's the 1.6 HDI then run away as fast as possible.

It's not special, its an 11 year old French car that was built badly in England.

Insurance value for my 1.6HD Quiki on a 55 plate is 1750. That's book value, so if we are talking a real minter the motor would be worth likely 1400 on paper. BUT a 1.6HDi of that age with that few miles smells like DPF, EGR and engine problems from the get go, so unless you are selling to a collector who will park it in an equally heated dry garage and never drive it, you'd be lucky to get 600 for it from someone in the know...

Sorry, it likely is a nice motor, but that few miles on an 11 year old diesel is likely to be a grand just getting it working right...
