#1: Valve bounce Author: Mikewhh, Posted: Sun Jan 29, 2017 6:42 pm ---- Hi I recently had an expensive visit to peugeot because my throttle body went wrong, they have told me I have I odd valve bounce and they are unsure why it is doing it, my revs bounce a lot lower than they should and it does not bounce quick enough. It is worse when cold. I was just wondering if anyone has had this or knows how to fix? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

#3: Re: Valve bounce Author: Mikewhh, Posted: Mon Jan 30, 2017 9:46 am ---- When I put my foot to the floor it hits about 4500 and revs bounce
#4: Re: Valve bounce Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Mon Jan 30, 2017 11:30 am ---- Rev limiter controlled by engine ecu.
It's virtually impossible to get valve bounce on a fuel injected engine.
#5: Re: Valve bounce Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Jan 30, 2017 1:32 pm ---- So it hits the limiter at 4500 rpm?
#6: Re: Valve bounce Author: Mikewhh, Posted: Mon Jan 30, 2017 4:10 pm ---- It hits 4500 then drops then goes upto abit higher then drops, this repeats all the time the accelerator is filly down
