The 1.4 is due it’s MOT in a few weeks and upon going to replace my springs I found the top seat for the spring is near shot (half has started breaking/snapping) Peugeot wants about £30 per side and I can’t justify that, however seeing as I have 2 spare struts for my GTi would they fit into the 1.4 ? As in are they the same diameter at the bottom of the shock ? Pretty sure the top mounts will be or should be the same.
Any help is appreciated want to try and get it done this week

Haven’t got any access to info so I’m sort of shooting in the dark
