So the car needs no introduction and those of who know it well will know that I regretted selling her.

Wasn't really used much and left sat as you'll see from the photo's, boy was it in a mess, debris in areas I'd never imagined there'd be, paintwork pretty much needs a whole respray, ecu was all loose from when it was moved to replace the cambelt/water pump, bolts I purchased from pro-bolt for the top mounts/strutbrace were missing and replaced with pretty much any type of bolt and done up so tight they sank into the liquid yellow paint.

Anyway I got in touch with the owner asking if he was still looking to sell it as he had been thinking about selling it for some time, my brother who was at the time also looking for a 180 was told and the next thing we know my brother had bought my old 180 Very Happy

It's currently in storage at present as he is looking to completely restore it including full respray.

When the car was picked up, these were the worst areas imo

After a good clean but needs respraying as mentioned and a lot of parts replaced

Can't wait to help work on the car and get it back on the road!!

Welcome back (again).

If it is really in that much of a state, mine must be getting somewhere near there as (apart from when I have been working on fixing it) it's been sat around since 2018.

Bet lots of memories came flooding back.... ?

Good to put known names to the wheels again, and even if the ownership isn't quite the same, it stays in the family!

Cheers Iain, brother has since purchased another 2 180's, agean blue and red 180.

He's currently restoring the red 180 and my old 180 we'll be hopefully restoring together.

How's it going Matty?

Got to love memory lane!

Car looking good .. not as clean as when you had it but I'm sure once it's had that love again it will be minto!

Did your bro restore the 180's in the end? got any pics? - If you ever come back on here lol!

I'm resurrecting mine at the moment! Well, not myself had it recovered to a garage for a proper check over and have everything it needs. Missus will be using it mostly as I fooked my ACL and she wants to keep the mileage down on her bimmer.

Decat coming off!

Hiya Jamie,

Was wondering where you went too lol.

She's now sold to someone in Cornwall. Never got the chance to do anything with her tbh and never got to get behind the wheel of her Crying or Very sad

She needed a lot doing and my bro with having 2 other 180's and looking to get a massive garage built he needed the money so it's now gone, to a good home I hope, he's also selling a 40k agean blue 180 but keeping the red 180 and restoring that

Hi Matty,

Long time, How have you been?

Shame about your Pug! Should grab another before the prices start to rise! lol I wonder if they actually will? I see two available on ebay @2.5k one is an 04 plate in black 67k I think... had belts and water pump changed with proof. Go on you know you want to lol!

Got any pics of the Aegean blue?

Mines on 64k - lost a lot of it's history which is a shame but my progress thread on here shows it's been well looked after bar it's 7 year stint sorned. Cost me nearly 4k to get it back on the road! It started it's Grand Voyage September 10th. It then spent no word of a lie an entire month before it got to MOT. They couldn't get it started, removed fuel tank, cleaned fuel system and fit new coil pack, fit my cat back on. It failed on bulbs and tyres. That took a month lol!

Now it's sitting in Halfords they've had it since 01/11 18 days! just to change cambelt, water pump and do the clutch. They first had issue with part for clutch fitted couldn't select gears (sorted now). Then they've had a problem with timing. They strongly believe some ones modified the back of my block when doing cambelt last. My friend did it no issues and it ran a dream. God knows when I will get it back and what they're doing with it!

Still got CC'd Morettes and CC'd SP arches both in loft. It's currently sporting the genuine masked Valeos!

I think I must have sold the Typhoon : (

Brembos gone can't even remember selling them!

Decat off, could sell it but not really worth the hassle lol!

I'm good thanks mate, keeping busy and building my 207 Gti

At this point had reverted back to the original tail lights as preferred the all red look

She's got a Etuners stage 2 map coming soon, but tbh I do still look back at the 180 and could be tempted to get another but in blue or silver this time.

Sorry don't have any pics of the blue 180 my brother has, all I know that apart from maybe a Janspeed it's completely original.

He has just bought another since my last post, another red 180 that is completely standard and low mileage, taking delivery next week.

Did try finding you on social media but could only find the focus st vids lol
