#1: 206 gti 180 looking factory fresh Author: Craig_marr, Posted: Sat Oct 16, 2021 12:45 am ---- So I’ve had the pug for nearly 18 months and in that time I’ve changed about every consumable item on it. It was a one owner car with the rare factory sat nav fitted. I’ve treated it to all new suspension, eagle f1 tyres, brakes, exhaust (including cat) and lots of other bits and pieces. I brought myself a proper da polisher and I’ve given her a 3 stage cut and polish. The car lives in a garage (has been it’s whole life) and it only has 82k on the clock. Anyway no rust and apart from 2 car park dings in the passenger door she’s very mint. Anyway I guess I’m putting this up here as not many people appreciate her. Most people don’t understand how rare and what it is (one of the last naturally aspirated hot hatch’s and weighing in at barely 1 ton it’s a little go cart).
Anyway here’s some pics of her looking great. The next thing on my list is to get the wheels refurbished but other than that I’m extremely happy with my pug and she only comes out occasionally (about 4K a year)

Since we had my last GTi I've had all sorts of turbocharged cars and also still own a 220bhp fiesta rs turbo. But there's just something about a little nimble French hot hatch that just feels so bang on.
