    ----
right i started my driving life with a good on 206 1.1 s nothing special but i loved it.. when i bought it she looked something along the lines of this

then i became a chav and this happened Razz

ok so the year went by and i got bored of the 1.1 so i splashed out for the big 180 when i first bought it it looked like this....

So i had it for a few months and white wheeled seemd to be in so me and my friend got the paint out

right so the wheels may look good in the pictures or may not to some but i never liked them and started saving for the powder coat job in black and i also bought some new morretts witch i also got professionally sprayed to match....... so this is how she stands at the moment i hope you all like.... oh yeah did i forget to mention it was for sale Wink full spec will be at the bottom

they where on while i waited for the wheels to come back from city powdercoaters

Engine spec: 2.0 16v 180bhp (56K on the clock)

Exterior: cat back powerflow exhaust
pipercross induction kit
gloss black powdercoated wheels
gloss black morette headlights
full sp kit from the archs to the grill (even had the rare rear morretes to start with)

Interior: pioneer head unit
twin 12" DB 1000w sub
the loudest.com 3000w amp

i hope everyone likes it though. also some pics are off the phone so please excuse them haha.. should get some
more night shots up later Razz ENJOY AND COMMENT

NEW STUFF

right soo got the clay bar out today and made the most of it all havent got many pics because i also did my callipers soo didnt want to go to far what do you think of the colour? done to death or look ok?

UPDATE 12/02/11

right so i got a few goodies this month as i have decided to keep the car for at least another year,

first to arrive in the post where my Toyo proxies PX4's (they ran out of T1R's so this will be a good review for anyone looking into PX4's)

i then picked my wheel back up from the coaters (yes there black again) put the tyres on and gave them a good clean then polished with auto glym, sealed with poor boys wheel sealant, then waxed with do do juice purple haze to give it that little bit more. i then applied my new emblems (cost a fortune for little bits of plastic) and had chrome valve selves put on

few more bits came today some wheel nut caps as i seemed of have lost mine, and some new locking wheels nuts as the peugeot ones are shocking...

in the post are my Gmax lowering kit that i got at a good price (£41)
and a replacement mirror as mine had broken, all should be on the car fitted and ready in the next few days/weeks

Nice car mate! Love the black morretes and vortex's and glad you changed the lights back to the phase 2's. They look better then the rear morrete style ones.

Wow you guys in the UK have extremely high insurance quotes...2900GBP Confused I'm 20 (have a license for 2 years now) and pay 700€ (a bit over 600GBP) for my GTi, every possible scenario included + breakdown cover Smile Nice car BTW and good that you replaced those gash rear lights Smile

The black wheels and morrettes look really good against the car, a nice contrast there. Good looking car mate Thumbs Up

Although, screw paying £2900 to insure the damn thing, in fact anything over £1000 for insurance is a no go for me Razz

=ZiAn= is that meant to say £60 a year for your insurance, or is that a mistake? If it isn't, then I want insurance like that!

Thanks for pointing that put Jamie haha it's a powerflow but that picture does seem to stick out far lol, I'm thinking of getting slash cut janspeed soon, as for the wheels I'm taking the silver ones to coaters soon I sold the black ones and that pays for the refirb n wrapped in proxy T1R as for colour il decide when I get to the coaters it will probs be black again but they said they have a few diffrent shades of graphite so we will se Wink

Sorry dude it wasn't meant to read as harsh as it did lol

I'd say stay black unless you paint the morettes grey too to compliment them as you have with the black ones:)

nah they will be black mate i would say its diffrent but its really not any more haha.....

nah its kool i think im goging to get either janspeed backbox or get powerflow to do me another back box thats louder becase i want a litttle more music now Very Happy

If you want a cool sounding exhaust i'd opt for the Scorpion if i'm honest, i've now owned both, Scorpion on my old 180 and Janspeed on this one, The Scorpion sounds more raspy where as the Janspeed is more like throaty, I also believe the Scorpion looks better, they are both good though so i'm happy:)

I personally hate Powerflows on any car so i'd opt for a Performance exhaust like above:)

while researching scorpion or janspeed i discovered this:

www.youtube.com/watch?...re=related

Very Happy

i think i prefer the sound of the janspeed and the fact it pops is a winner lol... my problem is i dont know weather the janspeed back box will fit on my powerflow mid pipe.... and yeh i bought that exhaust before i really researched and found out it was just a custom exhaust and not performance

#44: Re: THE 1.1 THEN THE BIG 180!! update!! *PIC HEAVY* Author: JamieM PostPosted: Tue Feb 01, 2011 8:04 am

Haha, yeh thats my old baby, that video was just after it was fitted tbf though, unfortunately I never video'd it again, the sound changed dramatically after a few hundred miles, and my Scorpion popped much more than the Janspeed Wink that video makes it sound s**t!

Try and find some more vids for the Scorpion Smile

Bad times with the powerflow! but you live and learn I guess, I have no idea if it will fit you'd have to ask someone with a little more knowledge, i'd hazard a guess at the pipes would just be the same but then it was custom Neutral

im sure i can buy the back-box and get the powerflow dealer to fit it for me because my midsection actually made the car sound REALY nice and raspy so hopefully with the added janspeed it will be louder, pop and still be raspy Very Happy

I think the raspyness is down to the design of the backbox more than piping surely?

Which ever route you chose I hope it works out the best for you:)

took the vortex off and there gone down the coaters to get re done in black.... have two choices for tyres, Toyo T1R or Yokohama Paradas, not sure what to get but im thinking paradas as i have heard better reviews.....

anyways this is how the car is siting atm lol:

yeh i think they have had to scrap the piggy back idea because the rev limiter needed to be raised and they couldn't do that without re writing the software on the standard ecu......they asked me hahaha they been waiting for a decent 180 to come in for a while and i had litrally just spent 1000s on mine haha

Right.... seen as i STILL haven't got my car iv had lots of time to put pennies away and got a little trigger happy.... so im not too sure on what i have bought but i can fit them then always take them off if i don't like it.

so first of all to go in theme with my grill i managed to get a front badge of Raz all painted up for me, i did want the red Lion black \_/, but keeping in theme and seeing the pic i decided to go for the one on the ends Very Happy cant wait for them to arrive

so last week i bought and RGM bonnet grill.. this is going gloss black (im not really sure on it to be honest? )

and today i got some engine hoses

and this is where i think i may have gone to far... i have a red peugeot sport lion sticker, its only small to go on either door but i don't no if this will take the red theme OTT

so the list of things i have at home waiting to fit to the car when shes home..

. Gloss black and red honey comb grille
. Cupra R splitter
. 206info sticker (in red)
. badge
. bonnet vent
. engine hoses
. Red lion sticker
. trial fit the track wheels (that i don't think i want any more lol)
. and finally fit the mighty washer bottle cap Razz

im currently in the process or trying to get a strut brace for looks, painting the silver bits on the engine cover red and the car will be booked in for a light smoke tint, all round Very Happy

I can't see the sticker but I hate stickers, keep it fresh, remember less is more!

I always wanted hose covers like those but I didn't have a clue what I was looking at so gave up lol

nah i defo agree mate but with the new theme i thought maybe the side was missing a spot of colour so i just bought it for the sake of £2 lol if i dont like it then in the bin it goes.....

and yeh im not sure about the hose covers? i dont know if there the right one, Gems has some in pink and they look s**t hot!! but i dont think there crinkly effect and i cant find any rubber ones with slits in to pull over wires so they will do for now

seen as i havent got the car, this is the best i can do.... a quick photoshop of what the engine bay may look like with images used by antix & RATTAM (hope you dont mind guys)

the parts Ant has in graphite i will do in gloss black and also going to do battery cover and fuse box cover gloss, i also have some engine dress up to go on but i got bored on photo shop..... i understand its not great but a good old squint helps haha

before

after

ok all bits dropped off to be sprayed a mates doing them for me so should be all good....... also the little lion stickers are a lot smaller than i thought which im quite happy about as i wasn't sure and now they fit over the indicator PERTECT!!

i also picked my self up a strut brace to go with my engine bay that is getting sprayed as we speak...(ECU cover, engine cover, battery cover and fuse box cover :-D.....).

also although the front badge was what i wanted the halfords pink looked a little pink next to my other bits so i did it again in ford Colorado red and put a s**t load of lacquer on everything lol i also sprayed my bonnet vent gloss black.... got my stickers and engine dress up to go on as well lol lots of parts and no car Razz

glad you went for janspeed mate, I've got the same system but on my 138 and it sounds amazing, best thing about it is when your cruising along normal it doesn't sound noisey but when you go over 4000rpm it sings so sweetly, keep up the good work mate
