If you look at the bottom of the page where the picture is showing, you'll see something that say img code. Copy and paste that onto here and it should show the picture.

Aw thanks guys, your obviously more clever with me on here ha ha. Lots of plans, just gonna make it look fancy without writing it off lol. Technically my 106 isn't classed as a write off as it's actually just pannel damage, would need a new passenger front wing, bonnet radiator and electronics in the engine bay, everything else is intact. I rammed a Saab 93 up the a**e because she jammed her breaks on with no warning because another woman pulled out of her drive suddenly.

Doh i did that on purpose actually!! Jap cars have them coming out diagonally so i wanted mine to do the same, it stuck out too far to go straight!

Just come across this thread and i have to say thats a nice 206! simular colour to mine and the same front lights/simular dark rear lights!

My lights were the same at the front until one of the halo's stop working Confused but i think i have transformed it a little.

Have you thought about getting different sidelight bulbs and a pair of LED's? the photo below is a photo of my car on a roadtrip to london a few months back! i think the LED's would suit your car but the sidelight bulbs are a must. They Looked awesome when the rings worked!

BTW a good car you have there!

[quote="Pageo"]Just come across this thread and i have to say thats a nice 206! simular colour to mine and the same front lights/simular dark rear lights!

What sidelight bulbs have you got on there fella?

It's just the standard exhaust that came with the car and my dad welded a shiny tail end onto it to make it look a little better whilst i save up for a proper backbox but that tail end has now fallen off leaving a rusty half sawn off tail pipe lol

Girls could literally command the internet, especially with forums girl to guy ratio of 1:50, and lets be honest thats good because its a 206 forum, any other make and the ratio is its likely to be double that. And taking into account 45 out of those 50 guys are single, they will obay any command!

However, saying that Sarah you are pretty stunning I must say. What is your next command our leader? Razz

How can the nice girls be single? Usually nice girls have a line of arguably nice guys queuing up for if/when a nice taken girl becomes single. The other ones joins forums like this, talk about how cool our cars are and just generally wallow in our car related victory, so when nice girls show up this sort of frenzy begins Laughing

On the subject of commands, I heard the common method for thinking of them is to ascend a mountain for a couple of days, and then come back down with 10 command'ments. Worked for Moses, and he could even make water part so he must be a pretty cool kind of guy tbh.

Ooh good choice :), as your car is a gunmetal colour (according to your profile pic) i would go for black as it would stand out, if you have gunmetal wheels it would look a bit much i rekon?

Hi i know i haven't been on here for a while but just so you folks can spread the word, my 206 will be for sale at the end of this year, beginning of next, it will have 12 months MOT and tax, i will get new tyres and may also put lights back to standard, unless purchaser would like it as it is. I will be asking around £3500 for it as i bought it for £4 in March and only use it to travel 5 miles to work everyday so mileage should still be at approx 50,000 by then which we all know is pretty low!

Right so the air vents on the bonnet have now been sprayed gloss black along with my front Peugeot badge with the lion moonstone blue. Have organised for the lil' pug to get slammed on Saturday, next thing to do it re-furb the wheels, get those gloss black and spray the bumper and door strips gloss black to keep the theme going. But i really need a fuel cap and it can't be silver, wander if you can get gunmetal or black stainless steel gti ones? Or do i have to spray it?- Oh and yes that means i'm not selling the car yet after all!!

I can't remember how much my tax is because i pay for 12months at a time. Think it was £125?? It's an F or G bracket on the categories. My brother just bought a private plate for his Nissan Silvia S14- S14 A CU- brilliant! :). And only £250!!

Yeah mine was £250 as well from the DVLA, then had to buy the number plates themselves, cost about £35 for pressed plates. Then some t**t nicked my front plate, so had to buy them again Twisted Evil

Thanks for the good comments peolple! Appreciated :). It's true, you can never go too low, however the back doesn't quite match the front admitedly. but the front can't go any lower, 1. because it will rip my beloved splitter off! and 2. because the sil would be on the floor. The back i had raised, but only by 1cm so it just covers the back tyre, i don't want an arch gap at the back at all but i don't mind a tiny one at the front so at the moment it looks nice, the pictures don't do it justice now it's been raised a little, i'll have to put newer pics up. But i love the a**e down look and i'm not afraid to be shockingly low!!

I know what you mean about it not looking even but the sil is actually dead on level, because the arch at the rear of 206's is higher than at the front so however much you lower the front by, the back has to go lower to keep it even, tho it doesnt look even, wierd how it works but i promise you, raising it by just 1cm has made all the difference, will have to get updated pics on here.

Alright you lot quit havin' a go at me!!! It's my car so i'll do what i like! I was unsure about having the springs cut so i did some research prior to having it done. My dad, brother and my friend who lowered it are all mechanics so i got advise from them 1st and yeh your right, it is dangerous, but only if you cut them at the wrong end so they shoot through your bonnet, my friend who lowered it had lowered over 20 cars and has learnt from experience what's right and wrong. So instead of cutting alot off my standard springs i bought some sports springs and had a little bit cut off them, they were 60mm so took 10mm off so it's not that bad. I am not a complete blonde t**t! Thanks. Smile

lol. cut springs? back in the day Wink Very Happy

thing is with cut springs and standard length dampers it will only bottom out and knacker the rest of the suspension.

My honest advice, spend a few quid (front springs and dampers are about 150-200 and rears are 50-100) and do it properly Sarah ;)#

EDIT: You are right tho, if done correctly they can last. saying that tho the reasons behind spring cutting was due to lack of 'uprated' parts, which, in todays world isnt an issue)

Cutting springs is stupid, like it or not. Not to mention dangerous.

It's false economy anyway, as you'll most likely bugger your tracking and bushes every few hundred miles.

The reason people used to do it is because suspension kits were pricey but for the cost of a set of springs these day's it's idiocy.

like i said Wink hehe.

it was only noted as 'dangerous' due to DIY freaks doing it wrong and compromising the integrity of the spring (cracking, snapping etc).

Jord you know your still the only one for me ha ha Razz x

To everyone else- i appreciate the fact that your only warning me but there are nicer ways to say it than calling me an idiot, stupid or 'pretty but not clever' or whatever it is that you say. My springs had like one coil cut off and they are lowering springs, it's better to cut a little of those than alot off standard ones and i know a few people with the same thing, my brother did it to two of his cars and if you do it right then it's safe enough. So i don't mind you stating the facts but i didn't ask for your opinions, i just updated what's goin on with the car atm, that doesn't mean you can slate me for it!

However, if it makes you feel better then you can call me what you like Smile

Sez, this is the simple conclusion of the past few pages of codswallop:

If you don't like the opinions of others, then don't post your opinions / what you're going to do on a PUBLIC forum. People will call you an idiot and 'pretty not clever' (which I completely disagree with - you're not pretty) if you suggest such an idiotic and unclever thing to do. Don't like it, then don't say silly things.

Pretty simples really Wink

It's true and common knowledge of internet forums. If you post an opinion or say somethign stupid, it will get jumped on quicker than you can say "cut my springs and watch my fly into a hedgerow"

It's common sense. Confused How is this trolling.

It's pathetic is what it is! I know it's a public forum and eveyone is entitled to their opinions but some people don't have to be so harsh about it. They've expressed their opinions now so hopefully will leave it at that.

Well you clearly need SOME input, as haven't you just said that the springs will be fine for now?! Confused I'd treat it as a matter of urgency to get it solved.

All I do is p**s people off? How long have you been here exactly?? It's what happens behind the scenes which count love, and unfortunately you haven't experienced that. I also have a 206. So I joined a public forum (regarding 206s) for that reason only.

I never called you ugly did I? I will however call you not clever

GOOD Advice!!!

Perhaps if you can't handle opinions from other people then a public forum isn't for you?

To use the old proverb, if you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Bloody hell man, that's harsh. And very untrue!! Looking at her dp, she is very pretty.

You may think that cutting springs is a bad idea, and I agree, but you're so damn horrible about it. She's entitled to her opinion but doesn't need slating over it.

Oh for god sake, I was changing the balance of everyone kissing her ass. She's clearly gorgeous, the photo shows that, and she damn well knows it. It's nice to have someone say something different rather than bigging her up constantly. This thread hasn't got 19 pages thanks to a nice car, let me tell you!

Happy now?!

Take everything online (and especially what I say!) with a pinch of salt. There's a VERY high chance I don't mean it.

Well don't say it then? No one wants to hear rubbish that's not meant.

Every single other thing i've said is true. If you don't like opinions, then don't come onto a public internet forum.
