I really can't afford coilovers, i'm about to spend £200 on the paint job. My springs will be fine for the time being. Thanks anyway

Well you clearly need SOME input, as haven't you just said that the springs will be fine for now?! I'd treat it as a matter of urgency to get it solved.
All I do is p**s people off? How long have you been here exactly?? It's what happens behind the scenes which count love, and unfortunately you haven't experienced that. I also have a 206. So I joined a public forum (regarding 206s) for that reason only.

Bloody hell man, that's harsh. And very untrue!! Looking at her dp, she is very pretty.
You may think that cutting springs is a bad idea, and I agree, but you're so damn horrible about it. She's entitled to her opinion but doesn't need slating over it.
