#1: It was soooo close :(.... Author: Timon2210, Location: Palestine PostPosted: Fri Jun 04, 2010 2:10 am

Hi All,
Yesterday,I went to check my A/C,and while i was going to the garage,a stuiped driver were speeding(drives Subaru Impreza),and he got so close to my car,and hit the side mirror, the sound was like banggggggggg, and the mirror went off from the base, and hit my face, thank God i was wearing my sunglasses,or i would lost my eye :(,and stoped on the speedo, what made me very mad is that he didn't even stop to check on me,and see if anything wrong happen,so i turned around and followed him so fast, and I managed to stop him with the help of my brother,we were gonna kick his ass,but we didn't do so that the problem don't get bigger,so we made him bring a new mirror (it's used),and we replaced it,but it's not good as mine :(.
Thank God that he didn't smach the whole driver side,or i would be so mad,and so sad because of that, but anything can be replaced without any bodywork is ok,here is the pics of the mirror:

Well he said that it was not his fault, and it's mine, because I'm the one who got so close to him,but after I told him the I will call the Police,he said no Police plz,and i will get you the mirror, and he admit it was his fault, but he claims that there was and old woman on his side, and that he moved away from her,and that is why he hit my mirror.
I told him that you were speeding,in a narrow street,so anything could happen, what if a kid or anyone got in your way,you would killed him in that speed,he was going about (90 Km/h=55Mile/h) Shocked

Well it would happen the same to me if my window was shut, and I wish it were,to have it broken is much better than have it hit my face like that :(...damn speeding ppl in the wrong places

Thank you my friend,it was horrible, and i felt scared to be honest,to be hited with something like that,is horrible, but Thanks to God that nothing bad happen to my face or eye,but the mirror was a mess, and the car interior as well, because of the very small pieces that came off the mirror glass all over my clothes, the seats, steering well, and dashboard,so i had to vacume it ,and it took so long to get rid of it all Sad

This happened to my dad on the motorway when i was a kid, except it wasnt toward us obviously, some a*****e (i think it was a lorry actually?) Tried to overtake and knocked it off!! - Nothing we could do on the motorway.

Then driving along the main road, and (this just goes to show what an awesome driver my dad is =]) me and my dad are in full debate about something or another, when some a*****e, pulls out from a side road on our right without looking, and somehow I dont know how my dad saw it, i certainly didnt, but he swerved the the left to avoid him, jumped onto the pavement, but no damage was done. - SAME THING, the a*****e didnt even stop! Had to follow him a good mile at speed through side roads until he finally stopped! - Nearly killed us, talk about life flashing before ya eyes!
