I am not sure if this is a problem with a lot of 206's however my spare wheel holder creaks when going over certain bumps etc, I have tightened it as far as I can but still creaks?

Turn the radio up and the problem goes away Laughing

Never noticed it on mine. Is it the frame creaking on the bolt or the wheel/tyre creaking on the frame/underside of the body?

Are you sure that's where the creaking is from? Put the handbrake on don't start the car and push down on the bk end, does it still creak? If so it may be your bushes on the bk axle mine used to do it and I thought it was my spare!! I just had new bk axle and all creaking has stopped! Smile

Hope this helps!!
