Hi

does anybody know where the earths are located on a 2001 2.0 HDi!!

Most of my lights have gone crazy & have been advised to check the earths before an auto elec comes to look at it!!

The lights that are going nuts are the brake lights & indicators!! Also the rear fog light indicator light on the dash is permenantly lit!!

Do these all use the same earth connection?

thanks

Check the earth lead from the gearbox to the chassis. A quick and easy way to confirm if its an earth fault is to connect a single jump lead fron the negative battery pole directly to the engine block and see if you still have the problem.
