Hi everyone hopfully someone can help, my 206 1.4 has been in the garage for some time and trying to sort out the high idleing speed i am talking about 14-1500rpm (idle). They are saying i need a new ECU possibly.

Anyone have any further ideas... or slightly cheeper ideas

Does anyone know if the Idle Speed Control Valve will do anything...

Cheers

Thanks,\r\nRussell

thats not very high for idle, but if it bothers you too much you can try cleaning the ICV

idle is 850rpm +/- 100rpm.

Try cleaning/changing the ICV. Also check the throttle position sensor
