Hi,
Recently I have noticed that when I change gear its alot more difficult and harder than before. I cant think of any reason that may of caused this. Am I tripping? Is this a common problem?
Solutions?
Jordan
p.s. its more a nuissence that a must solve problem, but it might get worse is my worry.

Is it when shifting in all gears? And do you have an XSI by any chance? I do, and find the gearbox can be a nightmare. Its mainly 1st gear and sometimes 2nd often it can require quite a bit of force to engage them. The problem seems to be most noticeable when its cold, once up to temp after about 10-20mins of driving it normally gets better.
To try and solve it I fitted group N linkages and a short shift kit, this has much improved gear changes in 3rd,4th and 5th but 1st and 2nd are still problematic. So I’ve pretty much resigned to the fact it might well be something inside the box itself and there isn’t really any cheap and easy fix to that

No its not an HDI but I thought maybe a quickshift maybe would solve it.
