If you are planning to keep it I would HPI it tbh (but not a £3 HPI check!).
HPI themselves or RAC HPI will show outstanding finance and change of owners/colour/engine/numberplates etc
But for £750 it appears to be a bargain!

or it had bodykit on and they took it off and just put any red bumpers on they found because it has twin exit exhaust??

Most likely..
Because it has tinted windows.
Just not sure on the sunroof.

Something doesn't sit right with this car for me. The GTi badge is the wrong one (looks like halfords or ebay one) and in wrong place it you compare to my GTi, Red is a rare as a**e colour and the sunroof.... thought all GTis had Climate control. Why the sunroof then? I think it's a conversion that has been re-registered with DVLA as a GTi.
I would do a FULL HPI check

It wouldn't be registered as a GTi if it was a conversion

but that not diablo red, more cherry red
googled 206 red gti with that year of reg ... =http://www.elvet-cars.co.uk/car-details-10652.html
but 2004 onwards there are but 180 gti's = plenty
i personally think gti engine been dropped in!!

If it says GTI on the V5c (when HPI'ed) it is a GTI. End of.

just spoke to the guys,
he don't know about the front bumper as he bought it like that,
he also told me it was chipped and running over 200bhp,
yep thats true honest like lol
