If you are using EW12 head I have to disappoint you as it is only a switch and there is nothing you can do about it. The only way is to switch to EW10J4S head.

Stroke has nothing to do with engine revs, I mean, it is not limited by the stroke, not with our limiters anyway. How engines like to rev is more dependent on a bunch of other factors, like cams, ex and intake manifold design, head port design etc. The stoke with its 96mm of it, is similar to Renault 2.0 RS enignes (93mm). Even Honda K24 engines with 99mm stroke like to rev, even more than a stock GTI engine, which btw, doesn't like to rev at all with its crappy stock cams, intake and ex manifold. It is not a performance engine in any way.

I think you missed the point drmo, he said about rate in which the revs increase not rev limits.

The EW10J4 justs needs a little push to make it that performance engine, for example our 143k miles (ran out of oil twice by the previous owner) made a fairly decent 190.3bhp and 170lbft of torque with a simple set of generic 48mm jenveys, cat cams and a high standard manifold with as long as viable primaries

I meant so that I don't manually have to switch it on and off. Ew12 doesn't have constantly variable timing like the j4s does.

Definitely needs a little nudge to get into shape lol. Same with this ew12 really. Got it on the rollers the other day at 171 bhp with 162lbft. Still running on 138 ecu and injectors but with gti180 inlet manifold, gti6 tb and 4-1 exhaust manifold

not all over the place but not ideal at all lol pretty much 14-14.5 all the way to redline.
Reckon about 190 with a map and the limiter raised as the power does not tail off at the top end at all. Will upload the dyno printout at some point

After Enigma Motorsport completed their work perfectly on the mechanical side of things, we took the car to a certain ECU specialist from Slovenia.

Its been sitting there since May this year and the guy hasn't even connected the ECU to the car. After missing a whole season of track days and racing, as well as listening to all the bitching, whining and excuses while repeatedly missing his deadlines, I've had it with the ignorance of this particular lowlife. So I'm looking for recommendations, preferably looking for somebody from Austria, Hungary or Northern Italy, but once the car is loaded on a trailer I don't really care where we unload it.

I need a person, who can deal with deadlines, is serious about their business, is responsive and knows their way around DTA (S60 Pro) or ECU Master ECU's. They also need to be able to create a custom VVT map. Please refrain from recommending anybody who cannot fulfill all of the requirements as I have neither the time or patience for people like that.

If I won't find anybody suitable, the car either goes into the garage as a really expensive paperweight or I'll strip it down and sell the parts.
