I keep having to top up my brake fluid, brakes seem to work fine, does this sound like a leak?

Yes, brake fluid level shouldnt drop, first thing to check would be to see if you can see any dampness around any of the brake calipers. Then ask someone to press the brake pedal while you again look at the calipers looking for brake fluid leaking. From there check the brake flexy hoses and brake lines. Then check your master cylinder for dampness, if no leaks are evident then it could be your master cylinder seals resulting in the fluid leaking into the brake servo.
That should give you a few things to check, hope it helps.

What car?? Engine?? Drums at the back or discs??? If its the gti in your sig then itll be either corroded pipes, split reservior or knackered seals on the master cylinder

Reservoir would be the easiest thing to check first. Feel around make sure its dry. I knocked mine once when trying to get my arm down the back and it caused a leak. As already said corroded pipes seem to be a problem on older ones.

Get it checked and fixed urgently. You do not want that small leak to become a flood! You will not know how near it is to complete failure until you need an emergency stop. That is not the time to find out that small leak is now a flood.
Even with dual or split circuits you loose at least 50% of your brake effectiveness.
It may also prevent your ABS working correctly.
I do not want to scare monger but please get it done quickly.
