just bought a 1999 Peugeot 206 manual car and after it warms up, in idle, it makes a jerking motion. it sounds like its sputtering and might cut out but hasn't yet. also the sputtering sound happens when in gear and driving.

can anybody help me figure out what this might be?

I take it it's petrol, diesels don't misfire, usually Smile

Coil pack and spark plugs to be checked, also codes read for a cylinder misfire or two
