The screen wash had stopped working on my 1.4hdi 2005 so I checked the fuses, they were ok. I replaced the pump still not working and finally replaced the stalk on the steering column but still no joy. Anyway now the steering wheel is back on with the air bag reconnected the air bag light has decided to make an appearance. Does anyone have any idea what,s wrong, am I missing something obvious.

Did you replace just the washer stalk OR the complete Com2000 unit?

Double check both the connector plugs on the back of the airbag are fully inserted in to the socket before pressing in the securing clip - this is what catches most people out.

The small clip in the middle of the plug that secures it in to the socket.
