Hi

I've been having problems with my Peugeot 206 hdi d turbo 2.0 2003. It cranks over but won't start. Crying or Very sad We had a look in the fuse box next to the battery. The little grey compartment with wires coming out has one connection that's burned. Photos show location and burn. I was hoping someone could tell where that's connects to. Thanks for reading hope you can help. Very Happy cheers

So that looks like Pin 11. What colour is the wire connected to that burnt connection? I can't tell from the pics but think it might be BLUE?

This happened to me.
I basically got a 2nd hand plug from the scrappy and rewired it.
It takes time and patients but it did the trick.
you will need to clean the Fuseboard and new plug with some electrical contact cleaner and the put some electrical silicone spray.
Hope this helps.

There is a special tool for removing the contacts from the connector plugs - makes the job a lot easier.

The connector pins are also available to buy.

Pez and MrBSI thanks for advice.

I'v been told it's the fuel injector pump. Mechanic bypassed fuel filter and still wouldn't turn on. Is the burnt wire connected to fuel injector?

What condition are fuses 3 and 4 like? One of them is for the fuel pump.

I had this problem years ago, the connection between the fuse and the connector was electrically burned. I had to swap the fuse boards but it happened again. I sold the car because of it.

When you turn the key in the ignition can you hear the pump priming. If not thats your problem.

Yes that's right gazza.

Checked fuses three and four fuse box diagram shows they are for abs and engine management unti.

www.autogenius.info/pe...x-diagram/

Checked fuse 8 and 15 says for fuEl injectors. The wire isn't broken but the prongs are half brown
