Hello All, I hope you can help...

I've just bought a 2001 1.4 8v for my Son as his first car.

I would like to go through the car making sure everything is in order, ok and reliable.

Top of the list of things to do is the cambelt and waterpump. The problem is I'm having difficulty establishing which belt this car needs...

As far as I can tell there is a 104 or a 108 tooth belt for this engine depending on what the engine number is.

Now, being new here I've had a good look round and did find the thread about decoding the vin number but have not been able to find anything about engine numbers?

Can anyone help or advise either what belt would be required or where to find the engine number etc ?

Many thanks.

What's the VIN number?

I can have a look on Peugeot Service Box for you.

Would be cheaper to buy the complete timing belt kit - this has the belt, tensioner & water pump in one box.

Toyota C-HR GR Sport 2.0 Hybrid with JBL & Alcantara packs.
