Just fitted a new brake regulator on my 2003 1.4Hdi after cutting all the pipes off the heavily corroded fittings and making new brake pipes.
On the new regulator there is a white plastic part which I am assuming is a spacer. Did a google search for this part and all you seem to get now is adverts for the part no indication what it does.
The reason I am assuming it is a spacer as it is removable and photos of the part assembled to the car does not show it.
Has anyone fitted this part and know how the plastic is used to set up the regulator, again I am assuming the car has to be on the ground which makes it a tricky job without the wheel off, but I have come up with a plan to get around this with a scissor jack and block of wood.
According to the Haynes manual after a new valve is fitted it must be taken to a Peugeot dealer to be set using their specialist equipment, as I am sure we all do
